TRIDENT TO COMPLETE RETROFIT OF
ICE-CLASS CRUISE VESSEL, THE OCEAN ATLANTIC
GDANSK, POLAND, 14 JUNE 2017 Trident Marine Systems, the industry’s leading single- contractor for refitting and new building, has completed a modernization of a 140 m in length, ice-class polar cruise expedition vessel, the Ocean Atlantic, operated by SunStone Ships, Inc.
The order was signed in April and during seven weeks of turnkey project execution, new suites were built and the following areas were refitted:
• Dining room
• Gift shop
• Secondary lounge
• Indoor café
• Coffee bar
• Public restrooms
• Internet area
• Cabins and suites
The project began March 27, 2017 in Gdansk, Poland, with over 100 technicians onboard and a congested time schedule. It was successfully completed on June 14, 2017, on time and on budget.
M/V Ocean Atlantic was ready to set sail again with passengers by mid-June.

15TH FERRY SHIPPING CONFERENCE
APRIL 5-7, 2017 Trident Maritime Systems will attend the 15th Ferry Shipping Conference aboard Grandi Navi Veloci's LA SUPREMA, sailing between Civitavecchia, Palermo and Civitavecchia.
The annual two-day conference is a forum for ferry shipping professionals that includes speeches and presentations aboard a cruising ferry.

TT-LINE ROPAX VESSEL
SCRUBBER INSTALLATION COMPLETED
GDYNIA, POLAND Four hybrid exhaust gas cleaning systems, manufactured by Italian firm, Ecospray Technologies, have been installed by Trident Maritime Systems on Peter Pan, the German-owned TT-Line premium RoPax ferry on January 10, 2017.
The scope of work includes:
Trident also completed a second turnkey installation of four hybrid scrubbers on Peter Pan's sister vessel Nils Holgersson in Landskrona, Sweden between December 2015 and January 2016.
Peter Pan and Nils Holgersson are two of TT-Line’s premium RoPax ferries, operating between Trelleborg, Sweden and Travemünde, Germany. The vessels were built in 2001 with a capacity of 744 passengers.
