Our Solutions

OUR SOLUTIONS

Onboard Refrigeration & Nitrogen: Service and Maintenance

We deploy certified teams to stabilise, diagnose and optimise marine refrigeration and nitrogen systems while the vessel remains operational. Typical work includes recovery and evacuation, targeted leak finding, recharge to specification and control set up to restore performance. You receive a concise service record with findings, actions taken and next-step recommendations to minimise repeat faults.

Typical deliverables

  • Fault diagnosis with remedial actions completed onboard

  • Recovery, vacuum and recharge to specification

  • Controller and alarm checks with parameter log

  • Service report highlighting risks, parts needs and follow-ups

OUR SOLUTIONS

Commissioning and Surveys

We manage end-to-end commissioning for newbuild or retrofit systems and deliver condition surveys to guide maintenance planning. Scope includes pre-commissioning checks, pressure and tightness testing, evacuation, charging, functional testing of compressors and fans, control loop tuning and compliance-focused inspections.

Typical deliverables

  • Verified pressure/tightness and deep vacuum results

  • Functional tests across cooling and heat-load scenarios

  • Controller set-up, alarm mapping and trip tests

  • Survey report with condition grading, leak-check results and action plan

OUR SOLUTIONS

Compressor Overhaul and Retrofits

We perform onboard minor overhauls and plan workshop overhauls where required, with dimensional checks and post-overhaul testing. Where appropriate, we propose retrofit pathways to lower-impact refrigerants, focusing on reliability, availability of consumables and control tuning.

Typical deliverables

  • Scope of work with inspection points and tolerances

  • Replacement of wear components to specification

  • Test run with vibration, temperature and pressure checks

  • Retrofit options with component and controls implications

OUR SOLUTIONS

Spares, Kits and Training

Rotterdam supports fast turnaround on critical spares and service kits, reducing time to restore capacity. We also deliver targeted RFN training for crew and engineers, covering safe handling, diagnostics, record-keeping and first-response stabilisation.\

Typical deliverables

  • Verified pressure/tightness and deep vacuum results

  • Functional tests across cooling and heat-load scenarios

  • Controller set-up, alarm mapping and trip tests

  • Survey report with condition grading, leak-check results and action plan

Parts, Tools and Equipment

We support shipboard maintenance with supply and guidance for refrigerants and service equipment.

Typical deliverables

  • Refrigerant gases and cylinders: common marine refrigerants in 12 L and many in 61 L cylinders (availability varies by gas). Supply covers common marine applications, with guidance on selection, safe handling and record-keeping. Deliveries can be aligned with planned maintenance to reduce downtime and help crews keep accurate charge logs.

  • Recovery units and vacuum pumps: sized to plant duty (Promax and Robinair where specified)

  • Service manifolds, digital scales and leak detection: accessories for accurate charge and leak localisation

  • Self-contained marine A/C units: 10.5 kW and 17.5 kW, 50/60 Hz, seawater-resistant condenser

Typical deliverables

  • Supply to order with documentation

  • Guidance on handling, storage and labelling

  • Guidance on handling, storage and labelling

  • Equipment shortlist, hose/adaptor interface guidance
